Maintenance	Review and study of proper maintenance techniques on existing clients, safety and proper use of all maintenance equipment, introduction to chemical applications, weed and turf identification, seasonal color installation and small landscape renovation projects
Specialty Contractor	Working for a small highly detailed maintenance contractor to study the detailed site specific issues, such as mowing heights, soil percolation, turf diseases, pruning, color installation and others
Design	Study of design process, site analysis, concept, conceptual design, preliminary design, planting design, plant identification, client meetings, and sales presentations
Landscape installations	Review and study of proper installation techniques, safety and use of equipment, installation process, soil and bed preparation materials, plant identification, daily work orders and procedures
Irrigation installation	Review and study of proper irrigation techniques, safety and use of equipment, installation process, design and hydraulics, parts identification, daily work orders and procedures
Irrigation Troubleshooting	Understanding basic troubleshooting techniques for irrigation, parts identification, basic controller programming, valve and head replacement, head adjustment for plantings and water efficiency.
Special Projects	Middle school courtyard design, installation, maintenance and developing ideas to work with middle school students to involve them and the faculty in the project. Company portfolio and design binders. Installation and maintenance ideas. Teaching training meetings.
Office	Study of paper trail from beginning to completion of project, including work orders, billing, estimating cash flow, check requests, purchase orders, and time sheets.
Field Trips	Visits to sites to study landscape and design application in Dallas and Fort Worth. Attending TNLA meetings.
